Holidays!

Christmas is here and it's time for some updates. But before that, I'm so sorry to say that I'll have to give the updates later because my bestfriend, Virgi, and I will be going to the mall today. We will have a really great time. I hope... LOL. And by the way, I'll by a shirt for myself. I had new ones but unfortunately, they're a little too small for me. So... I have to make myself thin, I guess. Alright. See you later!

I'm back!!! So... We went to the mall and bought stuffs and that's it. We went home. Kidding! Hahaha. Of course. There were lots of things that happened. We arrived there at about eleven a.m and I an\m so hungry. I asked her if she wanted to eat but she said she's not hungry and that eating is the last thing she wants to spend her money with cause she's going to buy a pair of pants and a pair of slippers. I was like okay. Then she said she only has a thousand pesos and a hundred. I was like are you kiding me? I had like only a thousand pesos. Why can I afford to eat when she can't? Then she said that a pair of pants is more expensive than a shirt that I am going to buy. I asked her how much money was she spending for the pants. She said nine hundred. I was like "what?!" It shocked me big time because I would not buy a pair of pants from the department store that would exceed in five hundred or six hundred. Then I told her that we should pick her her pants first so that we would know if there would still be money for her so that she could eat. I don't want to eat alone and she's at the same table with me. It's... awkward.

After the long search she bought this seven hundred peso pair of pants. I was still not fully happy with her decision cause there was like some pants there that caused five hundred. There was even that one that cost four hundred, I think. Well, after all, it was her money so whatever. After that, I decided to teach her how to really shop. I mean shopping for fashion for less. We went to Surplus and there we saw lots of pants that cost lower than five hundred. I was like "See. These are way better." LOL. I mean, yeah, it's cheap but if you wore it like it's expensive, it would definitely look expensive. I still had my second thoughts cause buying pants were not in my budget that's why I searched the ground floor of the Department Store for a shirt. I found this dark blue polo shirt. I'm not sure about the color. Maybe dark blue-violet. LOL. I'm color blind. After fitting it, I was like "Yeah. I think I really need a new pair of pants." And that's how it happened that I bought that three hundred peso pair of pants.

After that, we ate at KFC. We ordered Rice Bowl Meals. Root beer for me and Seven Up for her. Jefty also showed up and even though they are broken up, I didn't feel any awkwardness. We arrived at our hometown, Lucban at about Seven Thirty. I ate and then changed my clothes and went to the mass with my friends. That's all for today... See ya later!

Marry Christmas agaiN!

Inspired

Hi everyone. I'm sorry I had been not in touch these past few days. I got busy. Before I told you why I am inspired, I must tell you (Drum Roll please...) My thesis is okay now! Yes! It worked. After they rejected the Potato Battery thingy they asked me to change it to a Barbecue Mix. I tried it and it worked. I am so happy. The only thing I need to work on right now is my manuscript. Wish me luck okay?

So what inspired me today? The first is our Commandant in our CAT class., Sir Dator. He took us out for dinner tonight, Me, Jeffrey O., Christine, Virgi, Niña, Raina, Roxanne and Fatima. We ate pansit. I don't know how other people call it in their country but maybe the perfect term is stir fried noodles. I look up to Sir Dator. He's like one of my best father figures. Speaking of fathers, my father is drunk again. I know it's been quite a while since he got drunk but still he is very annoying. That maybe is one of the reasons why I need other father figures other than my own father because I don't want to end up like him. I don't want to be him.

Back to the topic, Sir Dator shared many stories with us. He was really open and I mean really really open. He shared us his story about his first love, I will not share this one cause for me, it's the least inspiring one. He fell in love with a woman which is greater than him. One that is richer, smarter and in a higher position in the CAT Organization. They didn't work out so well. What really inspired me is his story about him attaining his dreams. He dreamt of being in the army since he was a child. The catch is that when he was in his high school, it came to the point when his father told him to stop studying because they lack financially. The reason is because his siblings were studying at Manila. Therefore, he needed to stop for a year or two. He was crushed. He can't stop studying. He arranged the papers himself and got himself a scholarship which is a study now pay later program. It all worked out for him. What's best is that he proved his father wrong about stopping being the answer to their financial problem. He's other stories are about leadership and I must say, he is born a leader.

Another person that inspired me is my cousin. Her name is Katherine but she can also be called as Kathy. She has a blog in her friendster account and I was really inspired. My original plan was just to hit the sheets but after reading her recent posts, it sort of connected to me. I don't know if it's just me or it happens to everyone but there's this really weird thing in me. I don't know but I call it a glitch in my brain. Somehow, upon reading something or hearing a really good song, I would feel inspired and I would just want to write until I get tired and sleepy. Anyways, she blogged about her adeventures in her recent job hunt in New Zealand. She's now back here in the Philippines for almost a month, I guess. Here's the link to her blog:

It blew me away when I found out that she once dreamt to be a writer. I had been not telling anyone in my family or my relatives about me dreaming to be one someday because it's an unusual dream. I don't know if it is but I think that it is unusual because I consider it impractical especially for a family that's not that loaded like us. People expect me to be the breadwinner or whatever. That's what really tears me apart in the decision of what I will pursue in college. Will it be my dream? To be a writer and enjoy freedom of expression and freedom to live life that I feel that is needed to be satisfied since childhood? Or should I enter the Maritime Academy and be a man of the sea, following what I think is right but letting my greatest dreams and desires go? I'm still confused. It's really hard. It's like fantasy against reality and the heart versus the mind. Let me know what you think, alright?

One Tree Hill Fans!

For those who still don't know, I'm a huge fan of American TV shows. Now I'm developing a liking to these Australian Shows, Home and Away and Australia's Next Top Model. But that's not the point. The point is all about One Tree Hill! Here are some high quality graphics I got from a website. They're really cool. I also have some Icons.

Party Like Crazy Part 2!

Hi y'all! This is the second part of my Party Like Crazy post. This part is about Marian's Birthday Party this December 1st. I was still busy doing my presentation for my oral defense for December this morning that time but you know me, I won't miss the party. But before I start. I am currently on hold for my Research Papers. My product was like blah. That's why I was on hold. But the good news is that I have a better product to make. A Barbeque Mix! I think it is really cool. Also, the fact that my teachers Mrs. Palmero and Maledeo helped me out with that one. My adviser, however, Mr. Javen was his usual self. Ugh. Anyways, I was really touched when I happened to come across Mrs. Maledeo this afternoon. She said that I should go and consult her every afternoon. I was just lik, Awwww. She cares. Not like my Research Adviser, Mr. Javen, who doesn't. Wish me luck, alright?

About the party. We came late. Robin, Micah, Virgi, Niña, Kim, Christine and me. We arrived there, seeing some people holding a banner. It's Niccah, Dianne, Deborah, Paula and Grene. My night-out buddies! Hehehe. Even though Paula, wasn't there when I labeled them my night-out buddies, I considered her cause she's also a friend. We could already hear the band playing. It's a traditition of the Band in our school. Everytime that someone from the band celebrates his/her birthday, the band would come along and play for him/her. I was shy because almost all of the people there are looking at us. I was like "Why me?! Look at them." With this thought, I turned around and found out that my friends weren't at my back. They were a few feet away. I followed my night-out buddies inside so that I wouldn't go in alone. LOL. I'm a very shy person.

We took pictures then started eating. There's brownies! I'm a sucker for brownies and chocolates. Really. The band was still playing when we were done eating. After a while, the band stopped and it's their turn to eat so we went to a cottage-like spot in Marian's house. It's really cool with all those christmas lights. By the way, they liked my eye-photo. This morning, my classmates even said like it was a poster for a movie. Anyways, I had a little drink then left with my best friend to get some pizza. It's for my panelists.

On the road, we talked about her and Kevin. Her lovelife is kind of messy these days. The really climatic part of her story for me is when Kevin came closer to her that their noses touched. That was so sweet. But the saddest part is that Kevin gave her up because Jefty, Virgi's ex, is also Kevin's close friend. He said that he can see his friend still hurting that's why he's letting go. That was just so sad. And freaking annoying. She deserves a little happiness, y'know. Her school and love life were both stressful. After dropping the pizza by my place we headed back to Marian's house.

We saw Joanna by the wasy. We asked her to come but she didn't. She said she wasn't invited. God I miss them. ld friends. I just hope they're doing okay. It's the only thing I want for them right now. Back to the topic. We arrived at Marian's party and I can tell that evryone's having a blast. Everyone's just drinking, chatting and laughing. It's so great. I sat down by our table and they gave me this unfair shot right away. It's very high. I was nervous. I know I'll not like the taste. I looked for a really good chaser. Thank god I found this almost empty bottle of Coke. I drank it all after taking my shot.

The night flew by quite fast and I was really having a blast myself. I was really happy myself. Seeing all my friends together there. I know! It's not my party. But it's nice. All these years I've been trying to get all of them together. I guess Marian is the only solution. I'm so happy seeing them like with no barrier cause everytime they were in the same party it was like isolation. So. I guess, those moments were really endearing. I grew really slopped and I can tell that everyone's really tipsy too. Alyysa was just all over the place and really noisy. Micah was her usual self but you can see it in her that she's getting drunk. Fatima was like already lying in the chair. Bernard said that he already had enough drinking but yet, he was still drinking. Virgi was still drinking. Christine was already half asleep. Raina was worrying about her early start in school tomorrow. Mark Paul was, like, sleeping. Who else? Niña already left... Robin already left too... Kim was, I don't know. She's her usual self.... Me? I was just taking pictures. Talking and coming in and out of the bathroom to pee for like every twenty minutes. LOL.

We decided to call it a night and Me and Micah took everyone home but I was the last one standing. Hahaha. I really got my head on posting all about it when I got home, but by the minute I sat at our small chair, I can feel my stomach reacting. That's why. I decided to hit the sheets. So... That's it. I'll be back tomorrow! Here's some pictures:

Party Like Crazy

It's the month of December! Yay! I really love this picture. It's so... Christmas-yOkay, okay, okay. I know that this is the time for celebrations and holidays but I didn't expect lots of parties this early! First is Grene's post-birthday party. I didn't know what we're celebrating but I think it's still about his birthday... LOL. Anyways, I came there late since I went to church with my bestfriend. So , I arrived there and I saw Deborah, Grene, Dianne, Jamie, Niccah and Nikko. The same friends that I spent the night of Grene's birthday. It's really cool actually, cayse now, we're like night-out buddies. Then, I can hear them talking about Claudine. By the way, she's my prom date. Hehehe. The point is, it was her birthday. She asked us to come so we did.

We arrived at Claudine's place. It was closed but the lights are on so it's obvious that's someone 's in. To surprise her, we sang. No. The girls sang happy birthday really really loud. I just clapped. I don't want to be over enthusiastic or something. After a while, we stopped because no one from the house seemed to hear it. After a few minutes. We sang again. Happy Birthday! Yet, no one seemed to come out of the house. Instead, some lights were turned off. I was like, "What the hell?" Then after a while, we really got tired of waiting and decided to wait at the drug store, Mercury Drug Store, across the street. It was closed but the workers are still inside. You can see them through the holes. The crazy thing is... the girls waved at them! They're just so crazy. We're not even drunk yet. After a while, Claudine came out. We found out that, whatever effort we did. They didn't hear anything. That explains it. We came in and we started chatting again but the first thing I noticed was Chocolate Cake! Yay! Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat sooner since they're cooking some pasta and asked us to wait for it. They told Claudine about the recent fight between TG. By the way, there's no one else there but us, Claudine and her family. Then Marian texted us and she came over too. We were already eating when she arrived. The cake was really delicious. Hehehe. Everything with chocolate is.

Marian showed up and all the attention was concentrated at her... Err... Her mysterious suitor. LOL. I labeled him mysterious cause I don't know him. The rest of them knows him, but Deborah and I were just like, "Ok... Really... Oh..." We were just nodding and smiling and trying to laugh along because they were like laughing when Marian told them his name. His name is Jerome, by the way. I was really lost. They were saying all these stuff about him like he's got sense of humor, he's tall, athletic, and he's kind. Then they mentioned he was a soccer player. I though maybe I know him, since the soccer team practices at our school. Then a picture of this guy whose family has ready to eat meat food business popped in my head. Yeah, he's kinda tall. So I figured that maybe it is him. So I was laughing and laughing, only to find out that I was completely wrong. Ugh. But sooner, it didn't matter if you know him or not but the way they talk and laugh about him was really funny. We were really noisy and I can barely eat because of too much laughing. We laughed even harder when we found out that he's going to come. We were like, "Great!"

Claudine's sister said that he's already there. We burst out laughing again! I'm sorry but the thought of seeing him was just hilarious! They were like talking about him but they never went to his face. Almost like in purpose. No. It was in purpose. Jamie admitted that he's not that good looking. Anyways, he arrived and I pulled my serious face as long as I can. I did a really great job. Hehehe. Sooner after he arrived, we decided to call it a night and that's it. Marian also invited us to her party. She even said that anyone can come. No. Scratch the can and change it to must. Everyone's invited!
